We recently requested a laboratory study to see how superficial changes to flooring affect its anti-slip properties. This study put several types of glass through a series of tests to see how the flooring stands up to foot traffic under real conditions. These analyses were done on the models with the maximum anti-slip properties: Dot 25, Mos 25 and Moonglass T.
Additionally, it must be noted that their slip resistance is one of the properties derived from the essential requirements of CE Marking for tiles and must be declared when required under national regulations in the destination EU member country. In Spain, this regulation falls under the Spanish Building Code (Código Técnico de la Edificación), specifically the DB-SUA "Safety in Use and Accessibility". This document compiles the requirements associated with slipperiness of flooring used in public buildings and areas. These reports tell us about the durability of the anti-slip properties of our products.
At Vidriera del Cardoner, we value safety above all else, which is why we are committed to providing rigorous information on our products It is very important for us to be able to advise our clients and be sure that we can recommend the right products for each of their projects.
